    I taught state wide for public and private schools as an Artist in Residence. This included all ages and abilities: students with learning disabilities a well as gifted and talented students.
  • Delaware Very Special Arts Program (Artist/Teacher)
  • In this program I have taught in several statewide schools and private organizations for the learning disabled and challenged. Designing art programs that will be suitable and yet a challenge artistically was a goal of mine. I continue to teach for the Children’s Beach House in Lewes, DE during two weeks of each summer.

Educational Involvement in Art Integration and Curriculum

1996-97 Coordinator for the Lake Forest School District in the Goals 2000 Grant for Arts integration in the School Curriculum. This involved the Lula Washington Dance Co. and the writing of curriculum to incorporate movement in the core curriculum.

1995-96 Instrumental in bringing the Jazz Tap Ensemble to Lake Forest School
District FLAG Program students through DIAE.

1993-94 Instrumental in writing and organization of the grant form the DSAC in the presentation of the Kho-Thi Dance Co. Residency at Lake Forest School District.

1994-95 Coordinator for the Lake Forest School District in the residency of Bella Lewitzky Dance Co. Residency.

1991 Recipient of a grant from the Very Special Arts for the gifted and talented students to work with our learning center students at Lake Forest School District.
